1/4 chain
« on: February 23, 2018, 01:41:14 pm »
Just comparing this new micro mini 1/4" 043 chain to the ole 1/4 050 chain used on the poulan S25DA CVA I had.

It impresses me in the cuts for such a small cutter.

It was me who carved with it Kevin.
I made a loop of fullhouse Stihl 13RMS from a roll I got.
I got some Oregon but it doesn't compare to the boat tailed 13RMS.
Here's a pic.

Made that chain up over 20 years ago with just a hand held Break N Mend.
Did it over my breaks in the sawmill lunchroom when I still had a day job.
