We'll have plenty of time to do one this winter now. Be able to debate on what to do

Looked for the 346 set up to put on the 357 and I seemed to have hidden from myself.  :-[ :-\ ::)
Man I hate getting older and more forgetful where things are put.  :P

Found the 346 set up mixed in with the chains still in the package.  8)

Put everything on the 357xp with 8T 325 rim.  After trying 3 different bars. There isnt enough tensioner to allow me to install the 66DL chains with the 8T on this saw.   :o

I tested fitted the 66DL and 8T on my PP365 with no problems. But something about the Husky isnt letting me be able to get the chain on the bars with 8T.

So anyone care if I put on the 7T 325 on the 357xp?

That is fine with me Kevin.   It not like there is a 100 dollars at stake here.    Just some fun.

I still want to know why a 8T 325 on the 357 makes the 66DL to short. Looks like plenty there.

If there is room at the tail mount to rim area. I may just use a used bar and drill another bar tensioner hole and try 8T again.

The PP365 had plenty of adjustable room using same.

I wouldn't try to Jerry-rig it too much. 7-T is fine for me. That's what I plan to run with the chains when they come back on my 550 anyway.

Another wall cut up and burned.

Time to remove the metal roofing to start tearing that wood apart and burn.  Then the last side wall.

Sooner I get this all done the sooner I get to testing

Cant work on pulling metal roof in ran. Soooo

Went through everything to check. 66 drive link chain.  66DL K095 bar.
With tensioner all the way back the bar mount end almost touches rim with 8T on it.  I can forcibly make the 66dl chain go on. But I am not going to fight each chain to do this in the chain build off where I am swapping chains quickly to get back to cutting.

So drilling another bar tensioner hole isnt a option due to space. But grinding the bar rear mount area shorter would be to fit more easily. But I'm not going to at this point. So 7T 325 is on the 357 now.

I just thought of something. I'm curious to see.

After I get the ole garage project broken down and burned up.

Going to take a ole piece of cant from rd1 and run the stock K1L on the 357 with 7T, then run the PP365 with same chain with 8T. Will make video.
