Figure late Mar for a mail in by date right now.  Then when it gets warmer and I have time in schedule to spend a day with saw and chains.

I aint filing nothing in single digit to teen weather.  Plus no time anyways right now. Still hitting OT

Still plenty of time.

So what do you think will be faster in 8x8 white pine cant with same 3/8 new chain and 3/8 7T?

Stock rebuilt PP365 60cc open port quad or stock 357XP 56.5cc closed port quad.

They tune at about the same rpms. I am just wondering which will hold it best in the cuts.

I am leaning toward the 357 myself.

I am going to run this test someday when it is warmer to find out. ;)

Depends on carburation and compression.   The size of the engine by itself does not always make it faster, plus the timing numbers for port opening and how good the stock muffler flows.   Never has a 357 apart so do not know.
PP 505, 475, 445.

I have ran both stock and going from memory as stock saws.   Time will tell.

Heck may get fooled just like the PP445 did me, when it out cut the MS440 with DP cover and 372XP.

I ordered my 2 stihl 23RS 66DL off ebay some seller makes loops to order from bulk.

Going to get Carlton K1L through Nate here on the site at http://performanceoutdoorequipment.com/collections/chainsaw-bars-and-chains/products/carlton-k1l-325-050-66dl

Getting the Oregon 20LPX from Frawleys saw shop aka   Loggerchain  http://www.loggerchain.com/20LPX-Oregon-chain-325-050_c21.htm

Just to give some leads to chain

@Moparmyway  did you ever get a chain or decide which chain you were going to use?

I do think 33LG is still out there in 325 050 66DL  if that is what you are thinking.
