I remember Romeo from New Mexico.

I remember Bertrand's post a while back on here. I believe he posted a pic of the high tooth cutter too.

Bump.
Found my old thread with Bertrand's pic of the .404 high tooth.
Definitely not a Comfort chain with the old school heel.
Now I wonder if he still has some loops for sale?

I wonder if Stihl Timbersports had this chain made up in China?
Doesn't appear to have a legit Stihl logo on the cutter.
I've seen Chinese chain before in different pitches with the blued cutter and genuine looking Oil O Matic drive links.

.404 high tooth = 46RST  46 RST

Per Romeo guy that raced bikesaws I knew of.

It's chain that Stihl developed for their hotsaws. The problem is that the only way to get it was to buy a Stihl hotsaw. But some other guys have been comeing up with it. I have only seen a picture of it. It is .404 chain but the cutters are tall like 1/2 inch chain. It alegedly is supposed to cut like 1/2 inch chain (fast). I would love to get ahold of a roll or at least a loop of this stuff.

Just read Romeo's post from Magnus's site. That was written way back 10 years ago. The Comfort anti vibe cutter design was still being tested about that time.

Thanks is for sharing Kevin!
I can't compare to Bertrand's pics on page 1 because the pics are now timed out and gone.
Real hungry looking chain. I got some .050 Oregon .404 to put those cutters on.
Still one more project to stroke off my to do list
 ;)
