Anyone remember these??  The year on the package is 1981.  I'm not sure what it fits yet.

I have a new Halverson bar in my collection also. It was sent to us to try but never used it. It has as v shaped piece inside of the bar. The middle fingers on the nose acted like a spring against the v and kept the chain tensioned. It never took off.
The chain in the middle with the wings is a Kolve chain. Lots of trouble with this also. One big thing was it couldn't pass the kickback tests.

I've got an odd ball chain something like that .The teeth sharpen at a straight 90 degrees across . I'll dig up a pic in a few days .

Never heard of a Kolve chain.  I will need to put it on something and see how it cuts.  In my pile of stuff are five of the Halverson bars.

And all of these chains.

Plus this

5 of the saws are complete so my entertainment supply has some surplus!!

Online auction for a place that sold and repaired small engines.  My father in law calls me and asked if I wanted a chainsaw for $2.00, it snowballed from there.  I have $91.30 in the pile of stuff.

I heard 3 of the saws run today but 2 of the 3 need new gas line.  I have not tried the Eager Beaver yet but it will be nice to have an Eager Beaver here!! ;D  One of the chains is a 404 with carbide tips. It is not in usable condition unless I were to replace the carbide tips.
