I missed it earlier but that half round deal on the side of the bar was one method McCulloch used .Fact my super 44A original had one which  now the tightener is in a tool box at my shop .

That thing orginally had a 32" on it which is now on a 650 gear drive and it has a 24" open roller that was originally on a 250 and the 250 has a NOS 18" in .050 with a chunk of 3/8 chisel chain .Musical bars not to be confused with musical chairs .Ha I'm not  sure the 250 will even start it's been so long .
