I am holding off on filing untill the saw and drive tooth count is finalized ..................

I like the idea of a 33cc and a 6 tooth - but whatever you decide (ChainBuildOff) is fine for me

Its been done and posted.  Just tested the 39cc echo 3900 with 3/8 7T. 44DL will fit better but 45DL is what I use and used on saw with tensioner at max.  So 44 or 45 050
Very little muffler mod under deflector.

REPOST  You have to remember ps3 ps was made for a 35cc stihl 201T ;)

The 39cc echo 3900 pulled the 3/8 7 with no problems with stock PS.
in cherry 6"- 7" and maple log buried

You know what your building chain for so build accordingly.

People shouldnt  expect to just cut  60dl  race chain and send it in and expect it to be the fastest.  Those were built with 50cc woods ported saws in mind. ;)

I think I see what you did there. LOL

Small stock saw puts an interesting twist for sure.

Fixed your quote.  Good to see ya Shaun.

Bookies have good odds on you for this chain build.  ;)

I got the old grey mare odds for a long long long shot.  :D

Got to remember I have been in this for a pretty long time and seen it all tried.  ;)  Just like 365 saws with big HL on them running in a woods ported work saw class.  :D :D :D

Does anyone have a new loop of PS 45dl or 44dl I can use for the stock chain?
That way I can file my last 45dl and not have to break my 56dl down.

I can provide a stock PS3 for testing and I will break down my 70dl to make a filed loop if I do it or loan to 660magnum to try.

Just send it with your filed chain when time comes.  8)

Just dont want to buy a 25' roll after seeing wives shopping receipts  today  :'( and ordering 3 cants etc.  Time to catch up again.   :-X

Just ran a echo 310 with 3/8LP semi wow. If the 3900 ran like that no way we could use it for build.  30.5cc  v/s 39cc but does the echo 400 run better then that?

Any of you ran a 3900 to compare to a 400?    3900 IMO is close on heels to a good running 250 025 with 325 chains.  Just so you know the 250 has more torque in cut. Sort of like comparing a OE 346  to NE 346 in the cuts stock and ported.

Think up something for winner to get recognized?  Maybe a banner at top with username and first name and chain build  picco winner.
