I was thinking of trying to do 3 loops then I remembered I didnt like goofy files chain. Scratch that one.

Back when I compared goofy and square of atop. Guessing 08-2010 time frame. Stock saw with 8T if I remember.

Good deal, Thanks for helping folks out. Thats what this site is about. Helping freely and sharing info with others.

I need more PS. I might have to break my last 56dl to have a stock test chain to go with a stock PS3.

I have taken the PS3 and timed a cut then cleaned the gullets and square filed..
I think I knocked 28% off the time IIRC...
I may have to dig up some video.

Good to know
I got 11.56 off the roll and 9.54 after square filing.
Boy was my math jacked up.
And that was with a good, stock, 5100.

We're really gonna have to lighten the load using the wee baby echo...

What size and type wood for your times?

I was in the 7's with stock ps3 and  with stock 35cc poulan 6T in 8x8 2 year old dry aspen.

Wood was fresh Siberian Elm. ~15" of wood no knots. Used up all of the 60 DL and 16" bar.
Putting a square corner on it cut faster, but also worked the saw noticeably harder.
I actually have the vids.
Not sure I can post them though.
