How many rpm is the baby Echo wanting to run in the wood Kevin?
Ballpark guestimate?

How about I check it with stock chain and see.  Will cut a piece of cant off and make a run through it with tach.  I really have a clue otherwise.

These are from echo specs on 3900.

Operating Speed: 8,000 - 9,500 RPM

Idling Speed: 2,700 - 3,200 RPM
WOT NO LOAD/ with bar and chain: 13,500 - 14,000 RPM

Remember I said 3900 reminded me of a stihl 025 in the cut with both running .325 chain.  Just a little less torque felt with 3900 like a OE 346 would be compared to a NE 346 for torque.

Cants are all put up with 3 tarps wrapping them.

Hmmm just received the echo 4500 45cc with no spark today. After I just sent a saw UPS out. Cant get ahead.  ::)

4500 reminds me of the OE 346 weight and in cut. Pro grade build too and 3rd one I have had.
If I can get it going just maybe try that one too.  :-\

I just sold one of those for $5 to get it off my shelf.   Mine was a non-runner so cant say even if ported. http://www.echo-usa.com/tomwin41/Techdata/cs-330evl.pdf

Any video with stock 3/8LP chain?

There has been some folks on other sites that said they were in but do know if they have a username here or not.

Guess we can start a list to give me a idea on wood and cuts etc.

Just copy paste and add you name if you like.

Cut4fun 1 stock PS, 1 stock PS3, might do a round work or 2 filed different ways.

I'll do round and chisel PS loops. Be interesting to compare the round vs chisel.
