No time like the present to learn. 1st of 3 batts charging. Then to learn to record straight to the mini dvd.

Wife recorded every football game my son played from youth through high school with it.  Set low setting to get all of the game. Also quicker to upload that way.

We get a kick out of this. This is what a 3 year varsity lineman looks like running the ball after picking up a fumble. He used to play fullback in Jr high some.

You know what was more impressive than the fumble recovery?
He held that block for damn near a 4 count!
We could use about 5 of him tonight!!

I had to watch again.

You know I never paid attention to that part and that he had drove that d-lineman that far down the field. Reason for him being there when ball popped out forward. Thanks for bringing that up.

His sophomore year they used him as a pulling lineman to lead block for our RB.  That RB now starts at a D2 college as RB.

One time he couldnt take his helmet off from 2nd quarter through halftime till end of game. He took a hit on the chin on a lead block that got them a TD and needed stitches. They packed the chin strap full of gauze.
They came up in the stands and told me whats up and ask me IF he could still play. I told them his call.  He played.

After game we took him to ER room to get stitched up. Has a nice scar to remember the 2 point loss by. We didnt have a kicker back then that could make x-points let alone a field goal so we had to go for 2 on everything.
