The open hot saws that won last weekend ran real fast..
3120's..
IIRC bored and stroked to 150cc.
ran real good. Pipes and Alky. Fun to watch.

1st and 2nd was Simon Bertrand built saws.

He is a member here. Havent seen him in a long time. That 372 pipe came from him thats on Jim's 372 he bought from me.
Yes Bertrand built..
Can't remember the 2 fellas names though.. Had a lot to absorb.
I was just glad I was in the money in a few classes with my work saws.

Pine was the wood..
Not the cleanest pine I'd seen, but better than what I'm used to. Lol.

Jay Coffman and Steve Winstead. Know them well.  Both members here too.

They should have been in all the alky classes.  Jay won all the SA alky classes I heard.

Names sound familiar..
Is Steve a big ole boy?
And there was a fella from MO that was right there in the mix too.
Ran all Stihl's.

We'll have to fix it to be placing higher next year.

Guy named Nike Stephenson from MO wants a couple 60dl chain's for his 372 alky.

We're really close on the SA gas saws. A little tweaking here and there, and then it's all operator from there.

If I can get this P5000 and 662 Solo to run as good as I know they are capable of, we be in the money for 3 and 4 cube SA. And I think our chains were at least on par with the best there.
