I sent my chain off today.  It was funny, the lady at the post office was wondering about the name,
Kevin Chainbuildoff.    I explained to her that it was a chainsaw chain competition.
She did wish me luck.

Kev, I've been using the 45-70 version of that Hornady ballistic to tip and it works well

Not to skew of the chain but I just learned something today .For years Ohio has had a pistol thing for deer hunting which I personally thought was stupid .At it's onset it specified 357 or 44 maq.I thought that's nuts because they make rifles in those sizes also .Pistols you get a chance of just wounded deer .Hell I'd be lucky to hit Lake Erie I were in a row boat with a pistol .

Much to my surprise that has been upgraded to any non shouldered rifle round ,such as the 45-70 .You could use a Quigly down under 45-95 if you wanted to .I think it even listed a 50-110 .My heavens that old buffalo gun could drop an elephant .

I filed on my chain entry a little bit today. We're gonna run 'em this weekend at Matt's before sending, see if they hold up in some of that hard yellow wood!
New ported Husqvarna and Jonsered saws. Woods porting of saws by appointment.
