I guess I should of said not to use on railroad ties and tin roofing. ;)

How many entries are you going to end up with?

Havent counted but know several are still coming.  Even folks not saying much in the thread.

I just wonder if a work chain will end up faster then the race chains.  Maybe at least close to them without all the work done. Like tunneling - rakers worked - back of cutters - tie strap work - stoning - etc - etc

Still didnt see anyone do what used to be done to full blown 3/8 race chain  to help lighten them up.    Will look closer when they are all here.

   After what we learned at Matt's on Saturday, I think a squared work chain may be the fastest on a small, stock saw. Raise the chain speed though, and worked-over race chains make up some ground.
   I tried to post a pic of the results, as recorded on the top of the cant, but the files is to large. May have to just hand write the results.
New ported Husqvarna and Jonsered saws. Woods porting of saws by appointment.
