The chains I had were .017 raker depth. My work chain is untouched. The one chain I filed back ended up being about .005. I set it back to .017. I wished I would of left a couple thou higher. Chain is hungry but still pulls thru lugging down. I think the cut with lighter touch is a smidge faster.

Wow good info.    I was thinking in that range.  I remember some of the 3ci 4ci race chain running .018 - .022 rakers. ;)

My 3cube 3/8" play chains are above .015. The ps I was experimenting I set at .020.

I think that is part of the mistake some make on small cube builds on chain. Take to much rakers off and to aggressive cutters.

I had to borrow a 3ci chain at my last racing gtg as I sold or traded off everything. This was just on woods ported 46cc 50cc 346's.
I couldnt run that chain very good but still did ok. It was way to aggressive to what I was used to running on my 3ci.
