Ran another set.  Only left recording once while picking up the cookies after cut. On Rogers chain at that.

Will see if I can edit my fat azz out of that. If I cant it is what it is because I aint smart with that sort of stuff.

Taking breather.
No biggie I would not worry about it.

Cant even get into the Post Office parking lot, will send out when I can, probably Monday

Had to walk away just now  :o. Settle my nerves and stupidity for not wearing my chaps.

Your work chain that was filed all the way back on cutter.  Broke in 3rd cut. Thank God above it wasnt on a stronger faster saw.   The chain stayed in the cut and slapped around. Will load video with 2 good cuts and then broke in 3rd.

I went and looked at that video to why I got distracted.

3rd cut appeared thin at top left side corner. In real racing that cookie would be a DQ. The kerf of the chain was in the wood but busted through on that tip.
If that 3rd cookie is the slower cut no problem. But if it was 1 of the 2 keeper cuts. I have the same piece wood cant left outside and can make a single cut to give a 3rd cut.

Moparmyway  your chain broke in several places so there is no getting that 3rd cut in. Those 2 cuts is all you got for time average. It's right where you angle down on the rivet tie strap area square filling and it cut the drive links in places to weaken them.

I will start video uploads when I get back from town. Once that is done I will post links here.

Then you all time them and post what your get for all 3 times 2 on one.  On the stock ones I did 4 cuts on 2 of them when I was cutting out knots etc.

How would you go about timing off a video? I have never done that before. You have my chains correct. i will be interested on mine to see witch one is  faster round or square. The list you posted is that how you are running them? Are you trying to have them finished by Christmas?

Kevin I changed mine to PS3 on your list.   That is what I started with.   It had the safety bumpers when I started with it.

But it is ps now. ;)  it's all good you have a lot of work in that one. I was impressed with your first chain build off chain.

Added the info so folks know.

When the chain hits top of cant start till the cookie is cut at bottom stop on a stopwatch.

Yep that was the order they were run.

I cut cants in half and worked out to the end about a foot foothalf left on ends.  Thats how they done it at Chardon for the races so both ends were same for 2 cutters in same cant.
