Thanks Kevin. Now if the little one will feel better I'll go scrap yard picking for metal.

Thats suks. Hate when little ones sick.

My first one was made from 2x4's that looked like the metal one.  Then I went with the 8x8's on top of 10x10's. Then a ole racing friend traded me his metal cant stand in on my 3120 practice saw trade we had going.

Here is that 2x4 built one.

I had to used cants to steady. By itself in last video it moved to much.

I got it figured out. Got to go get 36' of angle iron. Hopefully they have short pieces I can get in the truck bed. I don't want to have to take a trailer.

Finally found a saw mill $30 for white pine 8x8x8. Now to build a can't stand from metal.

Mike just so you know. White pine will make a stock saw look fast. Makes a ported saw look unreal.
White pine is like cutting a stick of room temperature stick butter.

I like yellow poplar cants the best.  I used to pay $25-$28 per cant for those for my gtg's.

Any of you folks want to post pics of who you are here?

We had a thread like that here buried in the off topic area. But would be cool to see who was filing these chains.
