Custom water jetted and painted bars
« on: December 21, 2013, 11:48:34 am »
Per owner = It's water jetted all the way through the bar and auto painted with hvlp gun

I invited this guy to show what he has to offer. Some may like it to advertise their shops or business in their many many chainsaw pics they share.  ;)

Looks really nice, but be careful with the hole size and amount of them if bar is to be used for cutting, or the bar will jam up solid and stop half way through the log.

That is pretty cool.   It would be a novelty on a show saw.

Very cool.

You could fill in the spaces with some type of resin if you wanted to use the bar without stuff getting hung up.

This bikesaw I built 30 years ago I inserted aluminum discs and covered both sides with JB Weld epoxy.

There is a guy here in Rochester that will laser engrave stuff like that. Thought about doing that to a bar but never got round to it. Can't do it on magnesium because of fire hazard but the water jet may be an alternative.
