Final Thoughts:

I was surprised the Square held up fine with those angles.
Even more surprised at the length of those cross cut chips.
Had a bunch 4"+ and a few 5" in length.
(I've never seen That before)- Kudos to Deets for his help on this one.

My suspicions are that Stihl RSC may have the best results for the following reasons.
Slightly taller cutter, no saftey Bumpers, thinner raker, thinner rivets,Better (larger) chip flow channel.
That why I'm putting my $$$ on Stihl RS for the .325 build-off

Well we will see.   When it comes to the race chains they go through one heck of a transformation so I think it is any ones game.
That is a pretty long noodle, but that could be from chip clearance like you said.
PP 505, 475, 445.

Back when I made a living logging we tried everything going for chains. Ran .325 on small saws for softwood 242-357 Huskys.  21lp was the hands down favorite for most crews. 95vx was decent up to 50cc but on 254 or 357 lp was quicker. Had a lot off chains breaking in 95vp and bar tips were weak.

At the shop now the remaining pro guys still buy 20/21lpx, only homeowners buy RS.
As for fastest chain out of the box probably RS,but to quote our Bowater instructor, " if you think a chain is fast out of the box, you need a filing course"

Have fun, if someone can find an old loop of 33LG watch out.

Why 50 gauge? No 58 in US?

New England is .058" but in the central USA if someone is stuck with a .058" bar, he'll run .050" chain in the bar until he wears it out. No one stocks .058" around here in Ohio.
We should share what we know... someone may learn...

It's Lodge pole pine.
It was all I had. Buddy of mine is going to bring some
test logs tomorrow.

I have a partial roll and 2 new loops in 33LG made.  Its in the list of choices in first post.

My friend likes the 33LG on the 16" 353 I set him up with.

050 is the poplar chain in my area not 058.   I cant give 058 away.

The stock ones are being run untouched. They are to compare to the work and race chains we are doing in the chain build off.
Do one up Art. ;)

Oregon used to claim 20LP was 6-12 (or so)% faster for any kind of cutting (specified), but never said on which saw...
