grinding problem
« on: January 18, 2012, 08:14:45 pm »
Did oregon ever make model 72 chain in low profile? I have a chain that came with a used saw that I believe to be oregon 72 (72 is stamped on drives) but my 3/16 wheel won't fit between the cutter and depth gauge. Its definitely 3/8 pitch. I cant see a height difference between it and my woodland pro 3/8 full chisel.

Problem solved, gave the chain to man of stihl for chain building contest. ;D We think the chain was rocked so hard it bent the edge of the cutters down. ::)
