I forgot about saving the bars for the scrap haul. Did as I always have out of habit, tossed a few broken ones last week in the barn trash for pick up.

Heck I'm savin my old bars going to build a picket fence around the yard when I get enough, still ain't got enough, still ain't got enough.

throw em the scrap bucket, when the buckets full dump in scrap trailer.

Might should strange but some artsian sword makers forge old chainsaw chains into a "damacus" type steel .Generally the bars are some pretty hard stuff too .Obviously some type of carbon steel .If you don't believe it try and drill a hole in one . ;D
