Thought I'd bump the thread....Since starting this thread the earliest application guide other than my early/mid 50's Oregon guide that I've come up with is from 1985, it does have many more of the multi mount patterns and some more of the oddball mounts which helps, but has no cross reference for the older 5 and 6 digit bar numbers, nor does it give a reason for the multi mount patterns, so I guess I'm on the lookout for a 70's application guide, these 5 and 6 digit bar codes must be from that time period, maybe even mid/late 60's.

Thanks for sharing those.
That 1968 Oregon catalog is a classic. Man I'd love to have some of those accessories and sawchain they sold back then.
How about that filing vise, looks alot better quality then the copies today. Chisel bit chain in 9/16 5/8 and 1/2". Looks like they got cast cutters not the punched out stuff today.
2.5" roller noses in .050 I could use a few of those. Shims in .050 .058 .063 great for hammering rails.
I still do have one of those adjustable depth gauge jointers. When you think of it jointer is the proper term.
Making a living with a saw since age 16.
