This is another version: Granberg 'Pitch-N-Gauge'. $2.50 + s/h on the Granberg site:
http://granberg.com/product/pitch-n-gaugeI bought a bunch off of eBay a few years ago that were a different color, but the rest was the same.
They are really handy for ID'ing pitch when you have a pile of chains you are trying to sort. If you always run STIHL or Oregon chain, you can learn their code numbers pretty quickly. But when you get some older chains, or brands you are not as familiar with (Carton, Windsor, Sabre, McCulloch, etc.) it is really helpful. Sometimes a different shape cutter will fool you when judging pitch. Especially helpful if you run across some 'obsolete' pitches (.298?, .354?, .437?). I don't use the other features very often.
I keep a couple near my spinner/breaker stuff.
