Tool post grinder on a lathe would work well. Carbide inserts don't like the case hardening of these "super hard" rims. Lol

I've cut down the OD of 8 pin .404 sprockets to make a lopro 8 pin standard spline before. Carbide doesn't like cutting them, but it will. I suppose shooting the holes for the splines was probably the worst on tooling.
