Don't  laugh...here's  my red neck thinking. Slide the power head on your work bench with no b/c at 1/2 throttle with the face of the rim contacting the face of a rotating bench grinder  wheel.
The grinder wheel and rim sprocket should be rotating into each other.
Periodically check rim diameter  :D
