it can't raise the dead but sure helps the cruddy  ;D  I use red devil lye not washing soda . have it all hooked up and running stir in a spoonfull at at time until ammeter  on battery comes up to 2 amps.  to much lye will overload your charger and burn it up.  people are afraid of lye but this solution is weak  http://www.wwgoa.com/article/removing-rust-with-electrolysis/
