suprisingly it cuts pretty well in hard Locust.

I test ran each chain after sharpening and it cut as good as any other semi chisel I thought.   He uses them in hardwoods.

Oh he also told me he ran the oregon CL filed with the atop square guide in the downed oak. He described it like a cutting hot butter (or something to that extent). He was really happy with it. Couldnt believe the chips it was throwing. If you had seen the chains I was sharpening I think you would understand that one better.  ;)
I also hooked him up with RSC and sharpened his only oregon 72 LG round so he could compare all the chains. 

I think he wants me to come over and buck that big log.  :o

The Sabre chain is 880S Tri Raker chain. Very low kickback. Works fine as long as the depth gauges [rakers] are maintained properly. We sold lots of it to homeowners.
