Semi chisel (low kickback safety chain) or full chisel(aggressive chain with kickback)?

Which one or both?

Semi chisel isnt safety chain , unless you buy  semi in safety type.  I buy full chisel  and if I bought semi chisel it would be the non-safety bumpers type.

Like RM RMC semi chisel is non safety , RMC3 is safety semi chisel.  RS RSK RSC is full chisel  non safety and RSC3 is safety chain in full chisel. Those were all stihl chain examples.

Look  at the 4 sticky threads explaining chains and types.  http://chainsawrepair.createaforum.com/chain/

Back in 96-97 Stihl had a chain called 26RM2/33RM2/63PM1 and 61PMN that the 017 used or least thats what we referred to it as. It had low reduced kickback. So we called/referred to as safety chain to the customers back then.
