Stihl carbide chain

Broke and mended that stihl carbide chain down to a 72DL and used it on the 4000. Was like cheating cutting that dry dirt encrusted root ball stump up.

Very impressed how it can just keep on going when a regular chain dies quickly.

Stihl 3/8 050 74dl 33RD broke down to make 72dl



Makes me wonder how good the forester carbide chains hold up. In pics I see you notice on forester the carbide part is lot less shown.

As you can see 063 at top of drive link like most of us know that do the stihl chains.

I bought another stihl carbide from a local in 3/8 063 72DL.  Figured since I found this 063 bar on shelf could set 2 saws up if needed.
