Seeing how the Silvey grinders are no longer available, is the USG next in line for quality?

Are you wanting to know about square grinding or round?

For square, you can still get the Simington Swing Arm 450C new

The USG is actually a round grinder. There were square adapters made for the USG at one time but they are hard to find.

Silvey did make some round grinders too.  But these are also no longer available new.

I use the Oregon grinder and am happy with it, but hear from others that the STIHL grinders are heavier duty if that is what you are looking for.

Sorry, was posting from my tiny phone. I'm doing round for now.

Anyone got a line on a NOS Silvey round?

I looked on Craig's list (USA) and Ebay and there's not any right now.

The Silvey 300 comes up more often.

Here's Ebay and there's a couple USG's on there right this minute
