My 69 camaro street car 6mpg 66 327 30 over with no electronics trans brakes etc. Ole school foot pedal brake and hope you time it right.

Yep I know what you mean.   I used to bracket race a 70 Dodge challenger 440 with manual valve body and reverse shift pattern.   
No trans break.   Ole school.   It was sure fun.   12.80 ET.
