Yep if we could only have seen the future ;D
My BIL had a 1970 or 71? Monte Carlo with SBC.
My brother had a 1971 Chevelle SS with 402 Holley 650 spread bore. I remember as a kid when he brought it home to the farm brand new. Stripes, cowl hood scoop ,factory spoke mags 60 tires.

Appears to have been very poplar in the early to mid 1970's.
More pictures coming tomorrow. I'm presently in the city getting an MRI on my left shoulder this afternoon.

Going to be moving around some of those water molecules and emitting some RF.   Really good for showing soft tissue images.

Roy,  yep in Winnipeg.
I flew out yesterday morning and got in the city by 8:30am. MRI appointment wasn't until 5:00. So I went to the movies and watched The Founder, Michael Keaton's portrayal of Ray Kroc. Great movie a must see.

MRI was noisy painful for having to lay in that tube for 20 minutes without moving a muscle.
7:30 pm got back on our local airline's 328 Jet return flight back to Thompson. We just clear the runway and get to about 10,000 ft and we start to lose power going from near idle to mid power back and forth as we lose altitude......all the way back to the airport!
Pilots landed us safely and we're back in the airport downing shots in the lounge
Airline brings their other 328Jet out of their hanger and we're back on our way with free drinks on the house.
So much for my New Years resolution  :D :D

Better to be alive and having a few drinks in the bar. Then not being able to make that choice every again. ;)

I remember times being on in flight emergency's in the military.  C-130 1 engine out, 1 on fire, flying on the 2 left. They said dont worry we could fly it on 1 if we had too.
This as we are going over the desert over Turkey.
Being security I knew what we was up to when I seen the landing party below.   Fun fun glad to be able to have those drinks.  CHEERS to you. ;)

Thanks!
One of our passengers was an off duty stewardess who flew in on the plane working the day shift.
She was handling it pretty good, as she was texting the hanger for updates as we were sitting in the lounge.
With a toast with her glass of red wine she says " When I heard that whistle I knew something was wrong." she said with a big laugh. ;D
