Shop Lights LED Florescent
« on: February 11, 2017, 04:43:01 pm »
Guy on my CR group told be to give LED shop lights a try. He was impressed with them.

Well being I had to replace one over the #1 bench with 2 4' double florescent lights. I thought hmmm will make a good comparison.

After hanging it up today. I say I am impressed too. All my lights will be going to LED 2 row 4' lights over the benches now.

I've been meaning to put some up over my lathe and bench. It's always a low priority.

In my house and shop I'm replacing all my old light bulbs as they burn out with LED. Way better lightening.
In the kitchen and shop I'm using the 5000/6000K daylight bulbs and tubes. Nice and bright also best light for photography.

I put one of tbe 4' 2 tube LED shop lights from Costco over my bench a few months ago.  Big improvement over incandescent and flourescent lamps.  Will be putting more up soon.

Bought another 4' double LED for bench #3.

Also looked at the 100 watt LED's to replace my 6 100 watt fluorescents for general area lighting down the road.  LED prices have come way down. = BIG :)

Wife was working on the bluebird boxes around bench #3 and commented how she like the LED lighting.  Comes right on and bright with no warm up in cold areas.  8)

Yep looks like I better go ahead and pick up a couple for the main lighting of 6 or 8 cant remember. Then use the ole florescent for back ups in case one breaks or goes out.

Finally got around to buying the 60 LED cored shop light I been wanting.  Wanted 10' corded over the rechargeable ones.
Noticed was harder to find a corded one like I was wanting.
