You are indeed a BRAVE man!!!  I would just have to be out whatever bucks it cost me @ the dealer.  Sad part I pulled wrenches for a living (70's).  I'm precomputer control.

I hate chasing them but cant afford it anymore so I try. I paid $75 a hr once in mid late 90's and I said never again for right now as long as I can, so  I had to try.  Heard the dealer was up to $95 a hr now.   :o :o :o :o

Partial success .One S25 running the other still carb problems .The echo hedge clipper either has bad flywheel magnets or a  cooked coil .

I tried the remagnitizing thing and got one magnet to take ,the other did not.I have another trimmer on the way as I type, flea bay .Unless the guy lied about it ,it sounded like a funky carb is all that's wrong with it .Might be okay might not .

I had anticipated getting the danged Echo hedge clipper Thursday .With Labor day in the mix maybe Fri .No go

So here is Fedex that wouldn't make a pimple on the butt of either UPS or the postal service .Shipped from Fla,went to Perrysburg Ohio then to Ft Wayne Indiana .I'll be lucky if it doesn't go to Cleveland or San Diego before I get it .Bah humbug . >:(

I've had those excursion deliveries with both UPS and USPS. Once they go wild, it is hard to get them headed in the right direction. Looking at the packages and the address label, there is no explanation for the wild ride except perhaps they get stuck against another package?

Saul, I like your style! I do a lot of light saw repair work on the kitchen table or my office desk...
I was able to negotiate a deal with the boss to continue using the kitchen table as long as I don't use kitchen knives as screwdrivers or gasket scrapers.
