Before I forget to  mention those pole saws/ weed wackers will also take a little tiny tiller head like a Mantis tiller .Sears sells them and others .They come up on flea bay also .

I've never used the weed wacker on mind due to the fact I already have at least a half dozen hanging in the shed. McCulloch,Ryobi ,Stihl ,Echo  and some I forgot the names of .These things are like old chainsaws .About the first time they don't start people give them away .6 dollar carb kit most of the time .

Congrats, watch for close-out deals at Walmart for oem chain. I bought a few for $5 apiece this fall.
Thank You Maxmag. I will keep an eye out for them.

Al, I bought a little electric Mantis last summer for my garden and couldn't be happier with it.  I know the cord is a pain sometimes, but for me the good outweights the bad.  And your right about the weed eaters & such.  If only people would do alittle preventive maint. steps, there equipment would last for years instead of yearly.  Carb. kits usually fix them all.

On the strato versions the little red rubber boot from the intake to the air valve deteriorates - I have to replace it every year.
