Dynamark 36cc
« on: February 13, 2012, 03:25:07 pm »
Trying to help a guy out at work with a Dynamark 36cc chainsaw. Looks like a little red box shaped older saw.

I cant find any info on them or who made it. Tried Acres and looked at CSCF.  Any info to share or pics?

I'll get some pics this evening. The guy finally brought it in.

I did notice the 1/4" chain and it looking like new still.

I always assumed the Dynamark devices were re-badged for Dynamark was just a marketing organization with products that sold in discount stores.

You should be looking at it from the point of view as to who actually made it?

Once you present the picture, I think you will find that there were many brands marketed with the same saw?
Trail, Pioneer, Poulan, Weedeater, Partner, Jobu, Jonsered

None of those. This one looks like a small Lombard.

From what info I could gather it's some rebadged Lombard .There's one on flea bay right now for parts .

Mike acres makes mention of one model of Lombard that small  that was made by Quandra Mfg. some place in Canada .No picture though .Big mystery at the moment .

Pshaw the way they did things it could be a Homelite for all we know under the shrouding .Stranger things have happened .

Yes, this is the Lombard 36 Deluxe made by Electrolux in Canada but they also made it for everyone else

This was before I fixed the recoil. Hence no starter handle, he said it was laying in his yard somewhere.  :D :D ;D

Too close to call but check it out http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lombard-CHAINSAW-POWERHEAD-parts-repair-/200716780369?pt=US_Chainsaws&hash=item2ebba70351

They didn't give a model number on flea bay but the time period is about right .I'm guessing  some variation of an AP 22 model .I think some models of Lombard were made all over the US and Canada .Fact I even heard some models of Husqvarna and J-Red were made by Quadra in addition to some tie in with Echo as well as Darnum .

Oh boy some of this historical stuff gets down right confusing .You can't tell the players without a score card .
