By chance I finally became the owner of my first China clone saw, I replied to a C-list add for a Poulan 330 and the 45cc Bluemax was also shown, both saws turned out to be NOS and both came home with me at very good price, best I can tell it's a copy of the Redmax 455avs, I will say that the saw really does run well, haven't cut with it yet, It didn't come with a bar or chain, I fitted a 20"B/C from my 3100 Poulan and it feels strong enough to handle it, but I'm going to drop it down to a 16"er, the 20" set up just happened to ready to mount and I wanted to see if it would fit and oil which it did, but I still think this saw needs a K095 mount bar, I think a dedicated thread is in order for these saws as they seam to be quite popular, cheap and east to modify...... ;) ;) ;)

I have a friend that's ordering a 660 'kit' from Huztl soon.  Will be interesting to see what arrives.  Thinking we should run good bearings (likely Nachi) and Caber rings in it for the best chance of success.

They're reproducing all manner of parts for the older Stihls as well as the 2 and 3 series Huskies.  I'm going to try some of their clutches and other consumables as soon as they arrive here.

Trust me when I say I got a great deal on both.... ;D.....I would have given more for just the 330 than I ended up giving for both, I didn't realize until I got home that both had never seen wood, run yes, cut no, with the 330 being new and not cut with makes me want to find a good used one to actually use and save the new one, there is one south of me about an hour, I may still hook up with the guy.
