green weedeater
« on: March 24, 2016, 04:53:08 pm »
started with 7 of these got 6 going . all i learned is when you think carburetor is clean and they don't run right clean it again. went to 50% purple power in ultrasonic cleaner. unlike mtd brand I did not run into internal engine problems. number 7 seems to be out of time but I got to work on saws now. 100% purple power eats on the aluminum.

Even the 50% purple power will eat the aluminum if you leave it in there long enough.  I never use it for carbs.

yes  you are correct don't leave them in it over an hour and rinse in water. put together get fuel mix in quick.  my whole idea was to speed up process . if you gonna put on shelf a while spray with wd40 or similar product, inside and outside.
