If you take off the top plastic part the magnesium body is exposed and everything is easily accessed. The decomp button to the left of the cylinder and the ingnition cable are in some type of "fiberglass" heat protection sleeve.


Taking off the starter and looking at the flywheel.


Exhaust is only an empty can with the insulation / gasket still stuck to it.


Classic two ring piston


A short video. First filling. First half carb set to 13100rpm, second half carb set to 14100rpm. Wood, some type of spruce/pine/fir, was a gift ;) from a construction site and slightly coated with cement.




Oh yeah the price was 219€ = 297$! Here about half price from original for a brand new pro saw not bad.
