Husqvarna warranty backpack blower
« on: February 26, 2012, 01:13:25 pm »
Just reading today and can not find any info on warranty length on husky blowers.   Anyone have this info for US.

I even tried the website and cant find anything on the warranty.

I found a heck of a deal  and I am thinking of taking a chance on the Husqvarna 350BT with rotary valve carb if the warranty is sufficient.  I just want 2 stroke or real 4 stroke over that 4 mix blowers stihl is offering.

What don't you like about a 4-mix? I hate the sound but they are one tough engine.

5 year warranty on the Efco blowers.

I was looking at a bunch of BR600's Brad showed me he has been working on. Just thrashed valves etc. I just dont want the hassles even though alot of pro guys love them.
There is always 2 sides to the stories and the ones locked up, lost compression and seeing the pics was enough for me to be scared from them.

We have sold over 1200 4-mix units since they hit the market. Only 1 valve issue, and that was covered by warranty.

You answered the 4-mix question so what about the Efco?

If I were in the market for a blower 2 warranties would catch my eye. Both 5 year, Efco and Echo.

Never seen a efco blower down here yet. Only the smaller efco chainsaws at Menard's.

From what I understand the huskys strato newer smaller  blowers are redmax ones. Which s cool with me. I just dont like that rotary valve carb.

If its pure Redmax it would be good gear. I was warned by the Husky rep here not to touch the rebadged Husky Redmax units.

Did he say why?

There is a new BR380 setting at my stihl dealer along side a 200T still. I think the 380 blower is 2 stroke right?

Is the 380 an older unit? We have a BR350 here but it is 4-mix. Just checked the 380 IPL. Looks like old school 2 stroke to me.
