Pole saw recommendation...
« on: January 10, 2018, 02:34:11 am »
Hi Folks,
I need a new pole saw for my garden. I am looking for Very comfortable to use and easily accomplishing a host of trimming tasks. Have any saw which extendable shaft will allow you to prune very hard-to-reach locations? Price is no problem.
Any suggestion???
Advance thanks for your reply.
Kathy

I like the echo versions myself.  If I was buying one today it would be the 280 Powerhead.

I cant tell if your wanting a PAS system or PPT

Petrol powered pole saws are heavy and expensive to fix if the shaft gets bent.
Take a look at these Silky pole saws.  Very light to use and blades cut fast.

I know Echo is now a popular brand in the marketplace. Can I get 3 years warranty on this brand?

I thought it was 5 years for residential homeowner use.

I was using my manual pruner like Williard talks about before the ice storm blew in to trim 2 pine limbs above a power wire.
Mine is a cheap version in fiskers.  Works good for my uses and telescoping etc.

Yep I think I would go with echo also.   I have a Poulan now for about 6 or 7 years and it was not expensive but you can tell it is on the cheap side.    I think the echo would be better quality but would cost more.
