sears/roper chainsaw
« on: January 05, 2015, 07:23:39 pm »
I have a sears/roper chainsaw, and the oil pickup hose, goes under a  roller/cam, that rolls along the tubing to force oil through the tube to oil the chain.
The hose finally ****.
I tried to buy tubing to replace it, and I bought a foot of every size tube/hose they had at the local mower shop, and Ace hardware.
None work   >:( >:(
Does anyone know where I can get new hose to repair it?
I know I have an old obsolete saw, but unlike my new saws , this always starts on the first pull
My new saws, I am so exhausted sometimes that I hardly have any energy to cut wood.
This was always the first one I grab, till I get to trees over 16 in, dia.
Someone has had this same problem, Where did you get your hose?
Thanks in advance; Mark
