Chainsaw Repair

The usual here, the big 2 no matter in what condition seem to demand  big $'s. as I tend to be out of step a bit, & keep a #of the big 2's running for a commercial logging company,( let me state a this point I have nothing against them) I have none of the 2 in my collection  I have over the last 3/4 years acquired freebies & bought for very small amounts of cash or exchanged various models of Olympic, Oleo Mac, & various branded saws manufactured by the now named Efco/Emack company. at first the local to me owners of the big 2 jobbies thought that I & my saws would be good as the butt of a joke but after 3 French equiv's of a GTG  a lot have changed there attitude after running the various Oleo's, + 4 or so Prof Alpina's & when I tell them that my 10 or so saws total probably only cost the amount of possibly 2 of their saws, they now in a good few cases  don't consider it a joke, & are looking to try to buy mine,  or buy up any local sales, the tunnel vision for the big 2 is a bit less & several guys now realize that there is life outside of Stihl & Husky + you can buy a saw for very few$'s that will perform almost & in some cases equal or better to the big 2 comparable models trouble is the words out & the bargains are starting to dry up Bu***r
