I know of the echos and their jd version plus the solo. A little off subject sachs dolmar produced a wankel rotary powered chainsaw as well.
Trapped in time, surrounded by evil, low on gas

The Wankel never worked out .It seems the exhaust was prone to setting the woods on fire .

The engine design it's self had problems .Early on the sealing rings would fail plus the fact the engine in general was not made as a high torque type design .

They made power as a result of high RPM's much like  turbine . In the car application they were not very friendly regarding gasoline consumption .

Perhaps had the design had been further developed it could or in fact may prove to be something .As far as I know it was pretty much shelved .

Wankel model airplane engines overheat real easy. They also are high rpm low torque. They have not been the most successful venture due to seal problems
