Kevin I'm just asking cause you should know if there is a way to break the rules most chainsaw guys know how to do it , are these muffler saws or can you run a pipe in these classes and 40 cc or bigger , so by the sounds of it these are pretty much full racesaws just not on alcohol,

Hey guys bring it all. I want to see fast saws and I don't care what your burnin and or piped. Like Kevin said its a run what ya brung. This is mostly for fun and we can always break down classes differently depending on what shows. I'm for the 2 cut since alot people probably don't practice all that much. 2 cut may make abetter show for the most of us. Now if some people come that race alot and what to do their three cut class hey thats good to.

Kevin I by all means hope you can make it. I put that date out there on a whim. I'm still flexible and want to make this a rally good GTG. Feel free to act as my agent on other sites to promote it.

Bill , 2 cuts is pretty safe and easier on wood than 3 cuts but its your sand box so we do what you want  and when we get closer to the show just let us know what you need money for the cants , I have put alot of GTGs together and know about the wood . I kind of think we need some kind of limits on what we bring cause if not it will be piped alcohol saws all the way and that is nice to see but not very easy to compare saws with .
Are you going to have any kind of a saw build for your GTG, I know I would be up for something like a 562 build off as that is the way pretty much everything now is going so might as well figure it out but I would think keep this a worksaw so more people could join in

Only 1 racesaw have ever been run at Bill's, only mine a Partner 5000 on gas no head.

At Bill's it has always been just WORK saws. Pipes (like jeepers 346 piped) ran with the muffler saws but was not counted for class. There never is enough piped saws to have classes here.

Bill's place is woods ported work saws on any gas ****tail  people run. Seen it all there and the guys running the nitro, nitropane and exotic high end race gasses you still have to flush, usually had their saws tuned wrong so it didnt matter anyway and got beat by just 93 octane pump gas.

Ed I just read Bill said run what you brung for this year. We can run them all together or break them up to alky and gas. Dont matter it is all for fun.
Ed you would be the only guy left coming that I know of that would have alky now.

Lets throw this out there.

muffler gas any mixture
0-40cc
0-51cc or 49cc 3ci
0-60cc or 65cc 4ci
0-81cc or 80cc
0-100cc
100+

Piped and alky saws can  run in class but wont get credit for beating the class. I know my 5000 was 30% faster in 1 cut times with pipe and faster by a couple tenths on muffler run on alky/nitro.

Also we have always allowed smaller cc to run in bigger cc classes. So a 066 can run in 0-100 and then 100+
, 346 run in 0-51cc and then 0-60cc etc.  Not all guys got saws for all classes and sometimes I just liked to run my smaller saws against my bigger saws to see.
I dont have saws anymore so it dont matter to me what you guys decide. I only have 2 3ci works saws left ported, 45cc 346 and redmax 5000.

Kevin , its just like the old saying goes , Donot bring a stick to a gun fight so this is why I'm asking , if  everything is woodsported that is great and I like that idea as it makes more fun for everyone

You know you were talking about guys running the 372 on the 365 and 7900 on the 6400. Same can be said for the guys with 281 with 288 tops and 7900 with 84cc BB tops etc.

You think some of this could be sorted out after we see who actually shows and what saws want to race. Kevin you probably have a better feel for what might come from the other sites.
If some guys want to do a build off I like that but I won't be able to provide the saws, sorry.

Thats what they did at Medina county fair  Bill, set up race classes at the fair.  See what was there and then make final say on saw classes.
I say just run gas and final say at gtg.

If alky and pipe saws show run them too just keep times separated.
