Off to see how much slower my reflexes are. Interested in seeing BIL's 562 cut also.

Stihl 261 is not bad for a firewood cutter. ;D  1st with it.
BIL's 562 beat my 2159 by 1/10 sec.
Second with the 181 Oleo-Mac
Ran the 357 pipe just for show.
4th in the 2 man crosscut, first time using one. Saw was supplied and we drew for partners.

Really enjoyed the evening now that its for fun only. Had a crowd of about 300 watching.

Wife had the grand kids so no video. 3 more small shows this year, so will get some video later.

You should go to BILs and go cut for cut with him over the block, or in a bigger stick.
Then you'll see, it wont even be close. Especially that saw.

Not too worried over the 562. There will be a Stihl in my hands next year to put the 562 where it belongs, second place. Thats the joy of 8x8 racing. Saws can be closer than they should be.

The big surprise of the night was a 5300 Redmax. Just .4 behind the 562, .3 behind the 2159 and .06 behind my 261.

353 husky = 5300 redmax.  Could be running a 50cc 346 cylinder etc too.

I have already had 2 361's that would give the 562 all it could handle. One Ed did for me, one he did for KFTREE, so its possible. Remember this is Stihl country. ;)

5 cuts in 20 inch hard maple with the 562 against the 2159 may surprise you also.
