For the mid Georgia GTG on Sept 20, 2014, we plan to have food (pulled pork, beans, potato salad, etc etc. Then we have brought in a bunch of logs for cookie cutting. We will show off our saws, let other people cut with them, cut with other peoples saws, etc.
There will be the opportunity to try out models of saws you've only read about and see if they're what they're touted to be. There may be some racing if some cants can get cut or someone brings some.
We're working on a solution for big diameter wood but there should be some there prior to the date to challenge the big saws.
I am personally looking forward to running some ported saws.
Some people will bring stuff to sell, some people will bring money to get a CAD fix.
It should be a good opportunity to put faces to forum handles.
We have some covered areas and can do this rain or shine.
RV's that are self contained can be accommodated.
The location is 30206. We'll start a sign up post in about a week for RSVP for planning purposes.
