Did you guys notice how it got so freaking quite when I was yelling out for Brad after he ran his little ported poulan top handle to see what chain he was running.
It was like everyone quit talking and running chainsaws at the same freaking time I yelled hey Brad the 2nd time real loud. Felt like WTF moment  :-[ :-[.
Yep had fun and got to me some new and some old faces.

Next time I will have to have a list of freaking saw showing up so I don't miss running one on my to do list like Marks 655.  :'(

I don't know what he did to it but that little rascal would run now .I always did say though that an s-25 Poulan has always been underated but obviously not by someone who actually ran one .

Now on that chain of which I have no idea what it was ,Oregon at one time made 1/4 chisel in both full and skip .The original s-25 had 1/4" chain .Fact I've got the drum and a chain but it's semi not chisel  .

I've mentioned the fact many times that Ralph Nader was instramental in getting that non guard type chain taken off the market .If however a person could possibley find the stuff those little saws even in stock form will literally fly though wood .It was the fastest chain for little saws I had ever seen .The last I'd seen any of that chain was probably around 1977-78 .

Al  make sure you bring your 200T 3/8 050 chain so can get drive link count and I will make a loop of that PS3 round chisel chain up for you while you are stopping by.  ;)

You know in line with my last post I almost think that damned little super bee has blown a seal .It never dawned on my pea brain that a 10 second run could not possibley heat the carb up enough to leak  until I was driving home the other day .

I'll try next week to get another seal and see what's up with that thing .You know though come to think of it I've certainly changed a lot of clutch side seals on those little rascals .4 or 5 within the last year as a matter of fact belonging to others .

Maybe there's more to that story of problems in addition to the noted carb problems .From time to time a lot of complete crankcases with crank intact show up on flea bay rather cheap obviously from cooked top ends .
