Stock appearing classes:
1) 0-2.5 in
2) 2.6-3.1 in
3) 3.2-3.5 in
4) 3.6-4.1 in
5) 4.2-5.0 in
6) 5.1-up in

Almost open classes:
7) Pipe saw class (must be a modified production saw)
Dealer class (same as pipe)

Open class:
Anything goes!

most saws have modified mufflers, but no expansion chambers
the logs are usually 10 to 12 inches accross

This is an annual event, every Wednesday of the fair.

I was thinking of go to this event have a couple of questions. I talked to bill curry i think was his name last night in livingston tn. show  he was saying the wood still had the bark on the logs is this true and do you have any ruels on this event. thanks jay

where do you sign up just come i looked on fair website for a Competition Forms for it i did not see one

sign up when you get there.

They had square cut logs this year.  They did say it was very costly....I'll let you guys know if they plan on doing that all the time.
