Friday the wild thing class build off got a new king. Last years winner was dethroned.

New guy was running NOS and a homemade pipe. Guy in red t-shirt is the winner of WT class. Jon Cox

See Shaun Carr, Clint Davis, Ken Freeman hiding back there watching in that pic.

Then onto clone wars last night.

Still going on today too.

Might be some folks that want to get into this CLONE Stock Appearing build off here for Sawfest next Oct. Using the G366 which is a copy of the stihl 361.
Some info that is out = Next years clone saw is ms361 full race
Stock bore and stroke muffler saw it OK.
Must use aftermarket case cylinder and piston.
OEM cranks, flywheels, etc. are encouraged more details to follow .
Nitrous, funny fuel and 2 piece heads ok.
I would think anything goes for a square race chain in this too. Eric Nicol is this right since a race saw build? Nobody runs round on racesaws.
This is also why you seen me showing Joe Harkness the Wayne Slayton video's on Racesaws group.
Joe's start in pic.

Eric = 361 clone wars saw for next year is a full race class. This will be a muffler class and still needs to be stock bore and stroke. All fuels two piece head square grind chains are acceptable. No NOS  in this class. The saw will be running over the wood. Same as the wild thing and cheap saw shootout classes.

Nitro Alky etc all allowed though. No NOS bottles like on Wild Thing and 170 class

Cheap saw for next year is the 46cc plastic saws again. Poulan 295 4620 etc etc.

So get those build going.

Plus all the same other classes for now.

Eric getting the new stands ready for 2024. Looks like this thing just keeps growing.

IMO best ran and organized GTG ever. None even compare for racing and good times.

October Sawfest
