I don't think I'll bring the 48" bar that's in my avatar .That's like lifting a bowling ball on the end of a broom stick .

Wanting to run a stock stihl 261 if someone has one to bring.

70.7cc saws. Also if someone has a stock 044 440 I would like to compare to a stock 445 and if my friend brings his stock 372 I would like to compare all 3 with 20".

Bradley David has a nice stock (I assume ) 038 mag which would be a nice comparrison if he's attending .I have one but I'm not certain I can get new mounts on it before the event .The other one is not stock so that would not be a fair comparrison in this case .

Pogo from northern ohio said he could bring a 044.  Met him at my place when he was down here making CL saw hauls.

Much to my amazement every saw I was planing to take started including the most stubborn SOB ever made being a 2100 Husqvarna .One needed some attention ,a 700 Mac .

The host made a comment he'd like to see a good variety of McCullochs so I figured the 10-10-,700 and 805 would be represenative of the last of the pro grade saws McCulloch ever made .

I know you can reply here Al.  ;)

So whats those big echo and skil saws I seen you test running?  I think I read Echo 900.   Skil was the biggest cc. What do they compare to in the big cuts?

That Echo was like 90 ccs' .I kid you not it had as much grunt as an 066 .The big Skil was about like an 090 .It wasn't lighting fast but it was bull strong .

Evidently one of the 441 Stihls' was reworked by Terry L .It impressed me .Probabley the best running 441 I've seen to date .

I might note to those who have never bucked large green cut cottonwood that although it's soft it doesn't cut that easy .Trying to cut say close to 40" with a 36 or 32" bar you have to "walk " over the top .If you don't do it right you'll clog the chain with chips .I did same and so did most others .
